▶ Background
Built a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects AI agents with e-commerce admin operations, enabling administrators to manage business data and workflows through a conversational interface.
▶ Project Overview
Built an MCP-powered interface for the e-commerce admin dashboard, allowing administrators to interact with business operations through AI instead of navigating multiple dashboard screens.
Implemented around 43 MCP tools covering administrative and product-management operations, along with 10 prompts and 7 resources to provide structured context and reusable workflows for AI agents.
Designed authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0 and role-based access control (RBAC), ensuring that AI agents could only execute operations permitted for the current user.
Added evaluation workflows, security guardrails, and prompt versioning to improve the reliability and safety of agent-driven operations.
